5 Reasons to Take a Short Break
Sometimes we plan too much and then struggle to fit it all in. With a short 1/2 night break, you can plan your trip around a couple of events, or just relax somewhere different to where you spend every single day. We have a few more reasons why short breaks are the perfect change from long-haul trips.
1. Any time, any season
Short breaks mean you can visit any place at any time of year, and the weather won't matter. You're not on this break to get a tan and read a book on the beach, you are there to escape the everyday stresses and be somewhere new for a couple of days. So whether it's sunny or raining, Christmas or summer, you can be sure to enjoy your rest.
2. Short breaks, more of them
If you have a few places you want to visit in the next year, then short breaks are the way to go. With short breaks, you can take them more often, meaning you can go to 5 cities instead of two. Little, but often.
3. Perfect for couple
Whether you've been together for 20 years or 20 weeks, taking a short break is perfect for getting some alone time with your partner. You can use it as an excuse to escape the kids, or to get away from housemates, either way, you can enjoy each others company and have a romantic break.

4. Could be all you need
We've all been there, sitting at work wishing you were on a beach somewhere exotic. But maybe you don't have to be in Bali, maybe you only need to head to a different city for a couple of days. Planning a short trip can give you something to look forward to, whilst also leaving you more refreshed for the next working week.
5. Sample a city
Maybe you want to visit a different city but aren't sure if you want to commit to a full week. Booking a super short break will allow you to get a taste for the location and suss out all the things you want to do if, or when, you book up for a longer trip. Testing out Edinburgh for a couple of days before booking a week-long trip during the Fringe Festival is a great way to find your way around before the influx of visitors.
