Click Book Stay is a family business, set up and run by Tara Scott, supported superbly by her husband Paul.
Paul and Tara’s passion for self-catering accommodation came about from having dogs combined with a love of travelling. They found holiday lets to be the best accommodation choice for them, offering them the space and flexibility of having a home away from home and being able to take their beloved scotties with them too!
Having bought a holiday apartment with a friend in Edinburgh in 2005, they got to grips with setting up, marketing and managing holiday let bookings and changeovers. A year later, Tara took a leap of faith, and set up an agency which has evolved over the years to become Click Book Stay as we know it today. Paul joined the business in 2020 and together they are focusing on delivering consistently high standards of cleanliness, safety and customer satisfaction.
“We have seen, and stayed in some amazing accommodation around the world, as well as having come across some very poor examples too. We try to draw on our experiences, both good and bad, to help us serve our customers well. From selecting the right properties to showcase on our website, through to working with the best suppliers and support teams in our local areas, we strive to be different, consistent and to be the best at what we do and have the wellbeing of our guests at heart!”
Paul and Tara like to expand their knowledge and skills with continuous learning; attending industry conferences worldwide, consulting with industry thought leaders and generally keeping abreast of the political landscape affecting the sector. Tara has spoken at industry events both in Scotland and on a world stage and has been included in industry podcasts. With a vast amount of experience between them, you’re in safe hands with the Click Book Stay team!
