Enchanted Forest

However by night, during the month of October, the woods transform into a magical display that is aptly named The Enchanted Forest. Perfect for kids and adults alike, the wood is a stone’s throw from the town of Pitlochry and ideal for an evening activity that will keep you inspired for long after you have left the cover of the trees.
Halloween
Always an active time of year, Halloween inspires a few events in the local area. Scone Palace is host to ‘Spirits of Scone’ that has ghost story telling and a host of ghoulish treats! Perfect for the kids, or even just the child in you.
Edinburgh Day Trip
Maybe you’re wanting to visit Edinburgh for the Christmas markets but don’t want the bustle of the busy city streets. Perthshire is a short trip by train from the capital city, making it perfect for heading in for a day trip to Edinburgh and enjoy the markets in full.
Beatrix Potter Garden
Ideal if you’re bringing the whole family, the Beatrix Potter Garden is located at Birnam Arts in Perthshire. Beatrix is well associated with the Lake District but as a child holidayed with family in Dalguise and the area is said to be the inspiration of her Peter Rabbit books.

If you’re wanting to get more close and personal with the wildlife then Auchingarrich Wildlife Park is perfect. Based in Comrie, Perthshire, the wildlife park lets you get an insight into the nature of the animals.
