Castle View Apartment is enviably situated within the Grassmarket area of Edinburgh, right in the heart of the historic but vibrant Old Town. There is always something going on in this part of the capital, rife with students and tourists alike. Step out of your front door and into the activity of the busy streets below, it's hard not to get swept up in all the goings-on.
The apartment is the perfect base for new visitors to the city and has all the amenities you need for your stay. The well-equipped kitchen comes with everything you need and even has a Nespresso coffee machine to make sure you are energised for your day exploring the city. Looking out of the apartment windows, you have some fantastic views of the historic Edinburgh Castle.  Ideal for 2 city explorers, or a battalion of 4 using the double sofa bed that is available, should you wish to soak up the culture and discover more about the history of the the city.  No need to concerned about noise as the secure gated complex affords peace and quiet in this otherwise bustling area. 



Considered the cultural capital of Scotland, there is so much to see and do in this beautiful ancient city, no matter what your taste. The apartment is a mere 5-10 minute walk from The Royal Mile, Castle and the famous Princes Street. See an array of street performers, hear the one o'clock gun at the Castle, shop until you drop or visit one of Edinburgh's Contemporary Art Galleries. And that's just the start of it! Castle View Apartment is also an ideal base for events such as the Edinburgh Military Tattoo, Fringe Festival, Six Nations Rugby at Murrayfield, Edinburgh's Half Marathon, Christmas Markets and Hogmanay celebrations. 

Although we would recommend guests come by public transport, there are plenty of car parks close to the apartment; the closest being NCP Castle Terrace. For a cheaper alternative, Edinburgh has many Park & Ride car parks that allow overnight parking (the most expensive costing £0.50 per 24 hours).

Malý byteček, ale v perfektní lokalitě. Kousek od hradu, hned vedle Grassmarketu, přes cestu plno kavárniček, barů a restaurací. V dosahu veřejné dopravy, z letiště cesta busem cca 30 min, Doporučuji všem, kteří si chtějí nejen projít památky, ale okusit i noční �ivot v Edinburgu

Booking Terms 

25% deposit is required to secure the dates with the balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival. Where a booking is made within 8 weeks of arrival then full payment will be required at the time of booking. We accept most forms of payment including bank transfer; all major credit cards and UK issued debit cards. Rental is inclusive of linen and towels, as well as utilities (gas and electricity) unless otherwise stated on the individual property adverts. Fair usage policy applies. All breakages are chargeable. Click Book Stay have the right to charge a fully refundable security deposit.

Cancellation Policy

Once a booking deposit has been paid and the booking confirmed in writing, the Tenant is liable for the whole amount of the rent for the period booked.  Any cancellations must be made in writing and acknowledged by us.
In the event of a cancellation, the following charges will apply:

- If notice of cancellation is given more than 8 weeks before your arrival date, 25% of the total tariff is non-refundable
- If notice of cancellation is given with less than 8 weeks of your arrival date, the full amount is payable.

Holiday/Cancellation Insurance

Once booked, the Tenant is liable for the complete Property rental costs. As such, it is strongly recommended that the Tenant take out suitable holiday/cancellation insurance to cover costs incurred by unexpected holiday cancellation. Booking Protect, which is a cancellation policy, is offered as an option at the time of booking via the Click Book Stay website.  Booking Protect is an independent company and not in any way related to Click Book Stay.
