Crown Gardens has been beautifully upgraded whilst maintaining its Victorian origins. The charm instilled by the property's period features will transport you back to a different time, with the decorative Delft ceramic stove, original
cornicing lining the rooms, functioning shutter, breathtaking staircase and an eye-catching Cupola in the centre of the building. Whilst establishing an old-fashioned feel, the property has a number of modern appliances that combine a century old feel with contemporary society, with indoor entertainment for evenings in and a fully equipped kitchen that has all the amenities required to create mouth-watering meals from scratch. The property has been decorated with a strong attention to detail which establishes a luxury feel throughout. After a full day of exploring Glasgow's vibrant West End, retreat to one of the property's many luxurious bedrooms, with en-suite in the Master bedroom and Jack & Jill bathroom joining the two double rooms. The property also features a private garden which overlooks a small park which serves the full neighbourhood.

Glasgow's West End is a microcosm of all that is great in Glasgow, giving it the feeling of a city within a city. Within a two-mile radius of Crown Gardens, you can experience a reconstruction of Charles Rennie Mackintosh's Glasgow home, see the largest permanent display of Whistler's artwork, visit one of only five remaining Clydebuilt sailing ships,  watch a different, live comedy show every night and, if you still have time, you have the Tron Theatre, Glasgow Film Theatre, King's Theatre & the Theatre Royal, Òran Mór contemporary arts centre, the Botanic Gardens and Glasgow Riddle Rooms; an interactive, multiplayer escape adventure. Byres Road is a shopper's paradise with vintage boutiques, thrift stores, specialist and secondhand shops interlaced with bars, pubs, restaurants and charming cafes serving freshly baked pastries, freshly brewed coffee or a good, old-fashioned Scottish fry up. With the Kelvinhall & Hillhead Subway Stations at either end of the road, you are only minutes away from Glasgow City Centre If you prefer to walk, however, the Wee Food & Whisky Walking Tours always help to get the legs moving.

"The most incredible house"

This is the most incredible house for a big group in Glasgow for a special occasion. Really easy to live there - everything we needed plus the high ceilings sweeping staircases gorgeous comfortable beds the quietest street in glasgow lots of bathrooms great first floor living room lovely responsive hosts . "This house is beautiful"


This house is beautiful. The pictures don’t do it justice and we felt like we were in Downton Abbey. Very spacious. Don’t book here if you have family members that can’t handle stairs - there are a lot! We found that a bit tough with the suitcases as I had family from America with me but to be honest, it was worth the climb as the house is gorgeous. The property does state it’s a 4 bath but it is actually a 3 - two bathrooms and one with a shower. On our next visit to Glasgow, we would book again.

"Lovely house"

Lovely house, expect to pay for taxis or good pair of walking shoes. Perfect stay for our family: 6 adults (grandparents found the stairs to the top of the house a challenge!), 2 sets of parents and children (ages: 14, 11, 9, and 8) all loved the size of the house.

Terms & Conditions BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

Booking Terms 25% deposit is required to secure the dates with the balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival. Where a booking is made within 8 weeks of arrival then full payment will be required at the time of booking. We accept most forms of payment including bank transfer; all major credit cards and UK issued debit cards. Rental is inclusive of linen and towels, as well as utilities (gas and electricity) unless otherwise stated on the individual property adverts. Fair usage policy applies. All breakages are chargeable. Click Book Stay have the right to charge a fully refundable security deposit.

Cancellation Policy - Once a booking deposit has been paid and the booking confirmed in writing, the Tenant is liable for the whole amount of the rent for the period booked.  Any cancellations must be made in writing and acknowledged by us. 

In the event of a cancellation, the following charges will apply:

  • If notice of cancellation is given more than 8 weeks before your arrival date, 25% of the total tariff is non-refundable
  • If notice of cancellation is given with less than 8 weeks of your arrival date, the full amount is payable.

 Holiday / Cancellation Insurance. Once booked, the Tenant is liable for the complete Property rental costs. As such, it is strongly recommended that the Tenant take out suitable holiday / cancellation insurance to cover costs incurred by unexpected holiday cancellation.  Booking Protect, which is a cancellation policy, is offered as an option at the time of booking via the TS Holiday Lets website.  Booking Protect is an independent company and not in any way related to TS Holiday Lets.
