Kingsbarns is a coastal village in the East Neuk of Fife which boasts a beautiful sandy beach and a location which is central to a number of attractions in the Fife area. The traditional buildings have been cared for well over the year and the conservation village has grown from the agricultural settlement it once was. Within close proximity of other locations on the Fife Coastal Path, Kingsbarns is a mere six miles from historic St Andrews and three miles from Crail.
Cherry Cottage is a picture perfect property in the heart of Kingsbarns. The authentic country cottage has been lovingly updated with modern features to provide a contemporary feel without losing the traditional charm of this home from home. The property has the added luxury of a large, private garden where you are able to sit out and enjoy the sunshine. If the weather is less favourable, relax in comfort with the properties two stoves, with a wood burner in the dining area and a gas stove in the living space you are sure to keep warm in the colder months. If you bring your four-legged friend with you for your trip, this cottage is pet-friendly and well-behaved pets are welcome at an additional cost.

Cherry Cottage is in the heart of Kingsbarns which is 3 miles from the harbour town of Crail and under 8 miles from St Andrews. There is a beautiful sandy beach under 10 minutes walk from Cherry Cottage where you might see the odd Kite surfer or just families enjoying time together building sandcastles. Kingsbarns' Golf Links is a matter of minutes away and good practice for a visit to St Andrews' Old Course which is only a short drive away. From golf caddie to dram lover, the newly opened Kingsbarns' Distillery offers tours and tastings throughout the year. Also nearby is the Secret Garden at Cambo House. From cycling to golf and walking to waterspouts; there's a variety of things to see and do for people of all ages.

Ideally placed between both St. Andrews and Crail, the cottage is perfect for exploring the picturesque Kingdom of Fife fishing and coastal villages of Pittenweem, St Monans, Crail, Elie and Anstruther. Kingsbarns beach is within walking distance and gives access to the Fife Coastal Path.

" Lovely Place"

This is our second stay here and we absolutely love it - the house is perfect- comfy, well equipped and very tastefully decorated. We were lucky to have hot weather so got to use the lovely garden as well . A short walk takes you to Kingsbarns beach and the Fife Coastal Path. This is a quiet location but there is plenty to do in surrounding areas if you want to explore. Hopefully we will be back soon.

"Great place to relax"

Lovely quiet cottage ideally located for Kingsbarns beach, Fife coastal path and the villages of the East Neuk. Loads to do in St Andrews, Tentsmuir, secret bunker, Hill of Tarvit, Kellie Castle etc. Great selection of restaurants in St Andrews but do try the Strathkinness Tavern. and the East Pier smokehouse on St Monans harbour front. Cottage is well equipped and a great place to relax. There are 2 great outside spaces with table and garden furniture for eating and basking ( even in Scotland) in the evening sun!

"Very restful"

The house has a wonderful outlook onto a very natural garden setting which is very restful. The interior has all the cheer that good lighting and fire places can offer along with nice dining possibilities both inside and out. Interesting collection of books! Area is perfect for walking and access to a beautiful beach is a 'stone's throw away'
