From the apartment, you also have a breathtaking view of Edinburgh Castle that is rare to properties in the area. 



Edinburgh's Castle Rock Holiday Apartment is enviably situated within the Grassmarket area of the City, right in the heart of Edinburgh's historic Old Town. Overlooking Edinburgh Castle, this apartment is a central base to explore the shops, attractions, events and nightlife. Considered the cultural capital of Scotland, there is so much to see and do no matter your tastes. The apartment is a short walk from The Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle and the Princes Street. See an array of street performers, witness the one o'clock gun at the Castle, shop until you drop or visit one of Edinburgh's Contemporary Art Galleries. And that's just the start of it! Castle Rock Apartment is an ideal holiday base for the Edinburgh Military Tattoo, Fringe Festival, Six Nations Rugby at Murrayfield, Edinburgh's Half Marathon, Christmas Markets and Hogmanay celebrations or simply a well-deserved break in a beautiful City. 

Parking:  We would recommend guests come by public transport as there is no parking at the property itself, there are plenty of car parks close to the apartment. The closest being NCP Castle Terrace.  For a cheaper alternative, Edinburgh has many Park & Ride car parks that allow overnight parking (the most expensive costing £0.50 per 24 hours).  There are a variety of steps to get to Castle Rock apartment so it may not be suitable for people with mobility restrictions.

" A Wee Gem"

This apartment is right “around the corner” from all the hustle and bustle edinburgh has to offer without the noise of late night party goers. Everything is in walking distance. My favourite location for many years now and it’s always a pleasure to be back.

Chic, clean, central and accessible to all key locations. We found the instructions to access the place easy and convenient. Did not get the chance to meet the host in person but there was tons of proactive communication before, during and after the stay with helpful tips for exploring the city and making our stay really easy and memorable.

Booking Terms 25% deposit is required to secure the dates with the balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival. Where a booking is made within 8 weeks of arrival then full payment will be required at the time of booking. We accept most forms of payment including bank transfer; all major credit cards and UK issued debit cards. Rental is inclusive of linen and towels, as well as utilities (gas and electricity) unless otherwise stated on the individual property adverts. Fair usage policy applies. All breakages are chargeable. Click Book Stay have the right to charge a fully refundable security deposit.

Cancellation Policy - Once a booking deposit has been paid and the booking confirmed in writing, the Tenant is liable for the whole amount of the rent for the period booked.  Any cancellations must be made in writing and acknowledged by us. 

In the event of a cancellation, the following charges will apply:

  • If notice of cancellation is given more than 8 weeks before your arrival date, 25% of the total tariff is non-refundable
  • If notice of cancellation is given with less than 8 weeks of your arrival date, the full amount is payable.

 Holiday / Cancellation Insurance. Once booked, the Tenant is liable for the complete Property rental costs. As such, it is strongly recommended that the Tenant take out suitable holiday / cancellation insurance to cover costs incurred by unexpected holiday cancellation.  Booking Protect, which is a cancellation policy, is offered as an option at the time of booking via the TS Holiday Lets website.  Booking Protect is an independent company and not in any way related to TS Holiday Lets.
