The picturesque harbour town of Crail is a beautiful spot in the East Neuk of Fife. Lined with cobbled streets, you'll be transported back in time with harbourside cottages and buildings dating back to the 17th century. The town is steeped in history and you can even take a stroll up the Fife Coastal Path for scenic views over the Firth of Forth. 

Calder Court is a newly refurbished apartment that boasts fantastic sea views over the Isle of May and East Lothian. Stretching out onto Roome Bay, in Crail, where Calder Court is located, boasts blue flag sandy beaches, coastal walks, a beautiful harbour and quality shellfish. Crail's history most notably begins in 1310 when Robert the Bruce made Crail a Royal Burgh. Today, Crail is the oldest Royal Burgh in Fife and, from St. Mary's mythical Blue Stane to the Tollbooth gaol, it's easy to see why this popular East Neuk Village is ideal for groups of friends and families of all ages. If you're looking to travel further afield, St. Andrews, with its famous university and legendary golf courses are only a 15-minute drive away.

"Good location"

Good location for walking distance to harbour, Co-op, restaurants. Sea view from upper bedrooms. Adequate space and ample hot water. Convenient parking area which is free. Katrina was helpful in suggesting dining options and clarifying access instructions.

"Lovely stay for Christmas"

We had a lovely stay for Christmas and New Year. The location is fab, quiet, easily accessible and a few minutes walk to the Harbour/beach/pottery/local shops and pub. Plus an easy drive to St Andrews and other coastal villages. The apartment was well stocked with everything you could require so we managed to cook a great Christmas lunch. Plenty of space in the bedrooms, living room, kitchen but there is no dining room so a bit of a squeeze for than 5 people around the table. Would highly recommend staying here!!

"Great sea view!"

Very spacious home with a full kitchen and GREAT sea view! My family and I stayed here while visiting my brother who lives in Crail and this home is just minutes walking from the main part of Crail and the beautiful harbour. We really enjoyed going for walks along the Fife Coastal Path. The butcher down the street and the Fresh Fruit Veg store have great, healthy, locally raised food if you are eating in at all. The check-in process was easy and the host was kind enough to leave us a little welcome treat upon arrival! We will definitely be staying here again.

Booking Terms 25% deposit is required to secure the dates with the balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival. Where a booking is made within 8 weeks of arrival then full payment will be required at the time of booking. We accept most forms of payment including bank transfer; all major credit cards and UK issued debit cards. Rental is inclusive of linen and towels, as well as utilities (gas and electricity) unless otherwise stated on the individual property adverts. Fair usage policy applies. All breakages are chargeable. Click Book Stay have the right to charge a fully refundable security deposit.

Cancellation Policy - Once a booking deposit has been paid and the booking confirmed in writing, the Tenant is liable for the whole amount of the rent for the period booked.  Any cancellations must be made in writing and acknowledged by us. 

In the event of a cancellation, the following charges will apply:

  • If notice of cancellation is given more than 8 weeks before your arrival date, 25% of the total tariff is non-refundable
  • If notice of cancellation is given with less than 8 weeks of your arrival date, the full amount is payable.

 Holiday / Cancellation Insurance. Once booked, the Tenant is liable for the complete Property rental costs. As such, it is strongly recommended that the Tenant take out suitable holiday / cancellation insurance to cover costs incurred by unexpected holiday cancellation.  Booking Protect, which is a cancellation policy, is offered as an option at the time of booking via the TS Holiday Lets website.  Booking Protect is an independent company and not in any way related to TS Holiday Lets.
