This townhouse is part of the converted Nether Craigwell Brewery, which was redeveloped into contemporary residential homes in 1987. This stunning conversion is a short walk from all Edinburgh has to offer, situated just off The Royal Mile and offers stunning views over Calton Hill and Arthur's Seat from the communal garden - rare in the city centre. If you're exhausted from a day full of exploring this historic city, put your feet up and relax in the property's spacious lounge, which provides a number of indoor entertainment that is perfect for recouping for you next day. The three-storey, open plan design of the townhouse ensures that all guests have their own space during their stay, perfect as the property can accommodate up to eight persons during a stay - sofabed available upon request. Despite being in the centre of all the city's action, the townhouses bedrooms all overlook the courtyard and are a peaceful retreat from the bustle of the city below.


Accessibility: Please note this is a three storey building, and there are some steps to the front door, therefore we do not recommend this property for those who require a wheelchair.


 

Local Area LOCAL AREA

With this property you are in the heart of the city of Edinburgh, just a short five-minute walk from the townhouse in one direction will take you to Holyrood Palace, the Royal Holyrood Park and Scottish Parliament building at the foot of the Royal Mile. Just ten minutes in the other direction, however, will take you to the top of Leith Walk and the East end of Princes Street, the main shopping area in Edinburgh.

Parking: The owner has a secure parking area which is available for guests to use, this is very convenient especially for a holiday property located in the centre of Edinburgh as not many properties can offer that. However, the best way to get around Edinburgh is by foot. There are plenty of buses - Lothian Regional Transport (LRT) which operate frequently throughout the city and you can catch close by on either street crossing the Royal Mile.

"The location is unbeatable"

The house is great. The most remarkable thing is the cleanliness that we found it and all the services it offered. We had everything for our week's stay. The heating works really well. The location is unbeatable since you are at the Royal Mille only 5 minutes away. We would definitely recommend it and would repeat if we go back to Edinburgh. - Using Google Translate.

La casa está genial. Lo más destacable es lo limpia que nos la encontramos y todos los servicios que ofrecía. Teníamos de todo para nuestra estancia de una semana. La calefacción funciona realmente bien. La ubicación es inmejorable ya que estás en la Royal Mille a solo 5 minutos. Sin duda lo recomendamos y volveríamos a repetir si volvemos a Edimburgo.

"Interesting building with nice view"

Lovely setting that was perfect for a family gathering. Conveniently located near Old Town, Edinburgh. Nicely renovated condo in an interesting building with a nice view. Living room is on the top floor with bedrooms on the first and 2nd. We didn't mind the stairs. The owners were very accommodating and helpful. We had a nice family gathering for our daughter's graduation from university. The living room on the top floor gave nice views of the city and was comfortable for our small celebration with family and friends. There were several thoughtful touches like providing tea and coffee that saved us having to shop on our first day!

Booking Terms 

25% deposit is required to secure the dates with the balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival. Where a booking is made within 8 weeks of arrival then full payment will be required at the time of booking. We accept most forms of payment including bank transfer; all major credit cards and UK issued debit cards. Rental is inclusive of linen and towels, as well as utilities (gas and electricity) unless otherwise stated on the individual property adverts. Fair usage policy applies. All breakages are chargeable. Click Book Stay have the right to charge a fully refundable security deposit.

Cancellation Policy

Once a booking deposit has been paid and the booking confirmed in writing, the Tenant is liable for the whole amount of the rent for the period booked.  Any cancellations must be made in writing and acknowledged by us.
In the event of a cancellation, the following charges will apply:

- If notice of cancellation is given more than 8 weeks before your arrival date, 25% of the total tariff is non-refundable
- If notice of cancellation is given with less than 8 weeks of your arrival date, the full amount is payable.

Holiday/Cancellation Insurance

Once booked, the Tenant is liable for the complete Property rental costs. As such, it is strongly recommended that the Tenant take out suitable holiday/cancellation insurance to cover costs incurred by unexpected holiday cancellation. Booking Protect, which is a cancellation policy, is offered as an option at the time of booking via the Click Book Stay website.  Booking Protect is an independent company and not in any way related to Click Book Stay.
