2 x twin rooms, 1 ensuite, 1 sofa bed in lounge

Situated in the historic town of Troon, Fullarton Courtyard is part of a beautiful stable block which was erected in 1790. Surrounded by a bountiful of woodland walks, this peaceful property is the perfect place for a relaxing break. With beautiful sandy beaches that overlook the Isle of Arran, more adventurous visitors can try their hand at windsurfing or kitesurfing, or visit one of Scotland’s leading sailing centres, Troon Yacht Haven, which is situated on the Marina. A golfer’s paradise, Troon is home to the Championship links course; Royal Troon, alongside a further 5 courses, including 3 excellent public courses.

The property is a great base for exploring the area, just over a mile from Troon Town Centre. The large and spacious lounge offers a variety of entertainment options, to keep you busy no matter the weather, and a fully equipped gally style kitchen means you can cook up a storm and serve up using the dining room table. After a day full of scenic walks, retreat to the plush bedrooms to recoup for the next day. If it's history you love, then know that the property was rebuilt in the 70's based on original Adam stonework coach houses and servants quarters which date back to the 1790s. It is a B listed building enclosed in a courtyard with immaculate communal gardens which is situated in the wonderful surrounding woodlands.

Local Area LOCAL AREA

Although Fullarton House was demolished in 1966, the grounds still hold relics linking the land to its past; including remnants of the Crosbie Castle which was later made into an ice house when the Fullarton Mansion was erected nearby. The ruin of Crosbie Kirkyard also lies to the South of the Fullarton Estate. Local folklore claims the roof blew off the day Robert Burns was born on 25th January 1759, it has been left as a monument to that day since. The cottage itself is located 1.5 miles from the centre of Troon and its wide array of bars, restaurants and unique boutiques. Access to the A77 is convenient and Glasgow City Centre is just a 45-minute drive away or 40 minutes away by train from Troon station.

Parking: Ample parking is available at the rear in the main car park.

Dear Maddison,

We had a great time in Troon, you can tell the owner that the Courtyard House is a beautiful place, and we loved our stay. If we come back to Troon , we would love to spend the holidays at The Courtyard. We've sent a five star review to Trip advisor as well!
