Built circa 1846, Parkview is a listed building of special architectural and historic interest close to the Birnam Arts Centre, the Beatrix Potter Exhibition, and the Birnam Oak, as mentioned in the Willian Shakespeare Play “Macbeth” Parkview Apartment has been lovingly restored over many years by the properties current owners and has many interesting features including a 1st-floor balcony with seating for two, split level open kitchen, lounge and dining space with stained glass windows, there is a Double Bedroom with TV and a large wardrobe and a single bedroom next to the shower room.

There is Wi-fi a Freeview TV box and Bose speaker/docking station in the lounge with plenty of books and would be ideal for a romantic getaway, or even a workcation where you can refocus, recharge and get creative. What is great about this apartment is its location only 5 minutes from the Dunkeld and Birnam railway station which is on the mainline to Inverness and being in the gateway to Highland Perthshire there are plenty of hillwalking paths and mountain biking trails straight out the front door so if you don't want to be bothered with bringing a car there is plenty to see and do, and an ideal base to do day trips to Inverness, Dundee, Perth, Glasgow, and Edinburgh.  There is a shared garden at the back of the property, ideal if you need to dry out wet kit, read a book, have a BBQ.

Birnam is linked to Dunkeld by a seven-arched bridge, built by Thomas Telford. It is surrounded by lovely Perthshire countryside and central to the many local places of interest such as the National Trust Scotland site of the Hermitage and Pitlochry to name a few

Close to the Birnam Arts Centre, the Beatrix Potter Exhibition, and the Birnam Oak, as mentioned in the Willian Shakespeare Play “Macbeth”, Birnam is linked to Dunkeld by a seven-arched bridge that spans the River Tay, built by Thomas Telford.

It is surrounded by lovely Highland Perthshire countryside and central to the many local places of interest such as the National Trust Scotland site of the Hermitage and Pitlochry to name a few, each season brings exciting changes to the landscape.

Dunkeld and Birnam has a busy community that welcomes visitors, and all year round is a popular destination for both locals and holidaymakers looking to sample real ales, or take in the atmosphere while listening to regular Scottish folk music sessions at the famous Taybank Hotel once owned by the musician Dougie Maclean,

The apartment is well equipped, spotlessly clean and in a great location. Situated in the peaceful village of Birnam and just a short walk away from the quaint village of Dunkeld, where you can find lovely shops, cafes and pubs. The area is surrounded by beautiful countryside and many places of interest to visit as well as great walks and cycle routes.

During our stay, we visited the lovely town of St Andrews , stopping on the way at Falkland, with it’s stunning palace, gift and craft shops. We will definitely return , so we can visit more of the area. Highly recommend this great flat for a comfortable stay for both a relaxing or active holiday in a beautiful part of Scotland.

Enjoyed our stay at parkview in dunkeld! Such a lovely location and amazing for activities such as cycling, water rafting and hiking!

After spending a day out around Loch Tay then we treated ourselves to the best ice cream in Perthshire from Stewart towers! The apartment is in an amazing location! Right in the centre of everything we needed! Definitely a cosy setting and an amazing getaway for a long weekend!

The Apartment was immensely clean and the facilities were terrific! Can’t wait to return!

Our visit to Parkview apartment, Birnam in Perthshire ,was a really enjoyable vacation.

Loved the property set in a traditionally old listed Scottish building.

The apartment is of a high standard with all the amenities we required.

It is located close to the train station so we travelled up by train and used the bus and train service to travel around. It's a 10-15 minutes walk into Dunkeld, which is a quaint place to stroll round and to pick up a few necessities. I loved Jeffries Interiors and browsing whilst my husband had a pint (or two) in the Taybank next door.

The area has many amazing places to visit either by foot train or car.

We would thoroughly recommend the apartment and it’s location.
