A unique duplex apartment set in a converted church, The Lookout, a 5 star Visit Scotland graded holiday apartment, has a contemporary design with a Gothic twist using natural stone walls and huge arched windows. The whole apartment is finished with solid oak flooring and wood & chrome detailing. On the lower level there is a large entrance hall containing a deep, walk-in storage cupboard perfect for sports equipment & extra baggage. The master bedroom, with signature stone wall and arched window, houses a king sized bed and leads to an en suite shower room. The second bedroom also has an arched window and two single beds. Both rooms have wardrobes, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets. The family bathroom has a feature window set against the natural stone wall, a free-standing bath tub with designer chrome fittings & shower and fantastic views. The designer kitchen is fully equipped with a washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, gas hob & a double electric oven and has a dining area with seating for 4. There is also a separate breakfast bar looking out through a south facing, panoramic window to the surrounding countryside. A pine and chrome spiral staircase leads to the upper level of the apartment where a spacious lounge leads, through french double doors, onto the south facing decked balcony and dining area with stunning views. The lounge has exposed wooden ceiling beams and a Velux skylight window. It is furnished with two double sofas, coffee tables, a large TV with freeview, DVD & CD players and iPod dock.  There is WiFi and gas central heating throughout the apartment. The communal entrance has secure entry system and a carpeted staircase leading to the apartment (39 stairs). Secure parking is available in the basement, (accessed to the rear of the building) along with an area to store bikes.

Well behaved pets are welcome on request. 


 

Local Area LOCAL AREA

The Lookout at St Ninians is located in the town of Crieff an historic cattle driving town in Perthshire, Scotland. Nowadays, Crieff offers a fantastic variety of things to do from visiting Whisky tasting at Tullibardine & Glenturret (The Famous Grouse Experience) Distilleries to Quad biking at the Crieff Hydro. There is no shortage of history here however, with Crieff being home to Scotland's oldest lending library, InnerPerffray, and only preserved WWII Prisoner of War camp. The Crieff Hydro's 900 acre estate provides a fantastic backdrop for horse riding & pony treks (all abilities catered for), mountain biking, archery and golf, and boasts a 4 star Spa and Sauna for those wanting a little rest and relaxation. While The Club at Gleneagles provides the opportunity to play a little more golf, shoot, fish and try your hand at falconry. Crieff has beautiful scenic walks and no shortage of pubs, cafes and restaurants, if you have enough energy left to enjoy them!

Hi Maddison,

We had a wonderful 5 days in the apartment, the only thing we thought that would improve the stay was an extra 4 mugs. There were 3 mugs (one was cracked on arrival) and 4 tea cups. It was no great deal to having to wash these, but I am sure it would be appreciated by the users.

The apartment is absolutely perfect: - two bedrooms, where everything is thought of. - two bathrooms. - bathroom with free-standing bathtub. - large kitchen with the best cooking possibilities. - Living room with two large sofas. The apartment is very large and very nicely furnished. Everything is important: from the hair dryer to the 4-way toaster. The balcony is relatively small, but offers a good overview of village and landscape. We felt very comfortable in the apartment. From the kitchen you have a nice view of the village life. We almost always cooked ourselves and found in the kitchen all the utensils we needed. In Crieff there are good hiking possibilities. There is also a nice coop nearby, where you can buy everything.

Great stay at St Ninian's!

Would definitely recommend this apartment! It is very well located for numerous restaurants, sightseeing etc. It has fantastic views across the surrounding countryside, absolutely beautiful. It is very comfortable and well equipped. Looking forward to our next visit!

Terms & Conditions BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

Booking Terms 25% deposit is required to secure the dates with the balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival. Where a booking is made within 8 weeks of arrival then full payment will be required at the time of booking. We accept most forms of payment including bank transfer; all major credit cards and UK issued debit cards. Rental is inclusive of linen and towels, as well as utilities (gas and electricity) unless otherwise stated on the individual property adverts. Fair usage policy applies. All breakages are chargeable. Click Book Stay have the right to charge a fully refundable security deposit.

Cancellation Policy - Once a booking deposit has been paid and the booking confirmed in writing, the Tenant is liable for the whole amount of the rent for the period booked.  Any cancellations must be made in writing and acknowledged by us. 

In the event of a cancellation, the following charges will apply:

  • If notice of cancellation is given more than 8 weeks before your arrival date, 25% of the total tariff is non-refundable
  • If notice of cancellation is given with less than 8 weeks of your arrival date, the full amount is payable.

 Holiday / Cancellation Insurance. Once booked, the Tenant is liable for the complete Property rental costs. As such, it is strongly recommended that the Tenant take out suitable holiday / cancellation insurance to cover costs incurred by unexpected holiday cancellation.  Booking Protect, which is a cancellation policy, is offered as an option at the time of booking via the TS Holiday Lets website.  Booking Protect is an independent company and not in any way related to TS Holiday Lets.
