A unique duplex apartment set in a converted church, The Lookout, a 5 star Visit Scotland graded holiday apartment, has a contemporary design with a Gothic twist using natural stone walls and huge arched windows. The whole apartment is finished with solid oak flooring and wood & chrome detailing. On the lower level there is a large entrance hall containing a deep, walk-in storage cupboard perfect for sports equipment & extra baggage. The master bedroom, with signature stone wall and arched window, houses a king sized bed and leads to an en suite shower room. The second bedroom also has an arched window and two single beds. Both rooms have wardrobes, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets. The family bathroom has a feature window set against the natural stone wall, a free-standing bath tub with designer chrome fittings & shower and fantastic views. The designer kitchen is fully equipped with a washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, gas hob & a double electric oven and has a dining area with seating for 4. There is also a separate breakfast bar looking out through a south facing, panoramic window to the surrounding countryside. A pine and chrome spiral staircase leads to the upper level of the apartment where a spacious lounge leads, through french double doors, onto the south facing decked balcony and dining area with stunning views. The lounge has exposed wooden ceiling beams and a Velux skylight window. It is furnished with two double sofas, coffee tables, a large TV with freeview, DVD & CD players and iPod dock.  There is WiFi and gas central heating throughout the apartment. The communal entrance has secure entry system and a carpeted staircase leading to the apartment (39 stairs). Secure parking is available in the basement, (accessed to the rear of the building) along with an area to store bikes.

Well behaved pets are welcome on request. 


 

Local Area LOCAL AREA

The Lookout at St Ninians is located in the town of Crieff a historic cattle driving town in Perthshire, Scotland. Nowadays, Crieff offers a fantastic variety of things to do from visiting Whisky tasting at Tullibardine & Glenturret (The Famous Grouse Experience) Distilleries to Quad biking at the Crieff Hydro. There is no shortage of history here, however, with Crieff being home to Scotland's oldest lending library, InnerPerffray, and only preserved WWII Prisoner of War camp.

The Crieff Hydro's 900-acre estate provides a fantastic backdrop for horse riding & pony treks (all abilities catered for), mountain biking, archery and golf, and boasts a 4 star Spa and Sauna for those wanting a little rest and relaxation. While The Club at Gleneagles provides the opportunity to play a little more golf, shoot, fish and try your hand at falconry. Crieff has beautiful scenic walks and no shortage of pubs, cafes and
restaurants, if you have enough energy left to enjoy them!

"Excellent Accommodation"

We had a very good short stay only dampened by the weather!! Excellent self catering accommodation with all we needed for our stay. The apartment was on the second floor and we did not see a lift or any note of this when we booked this did not cause us any difficulty but would like to mention it for those thinking of booking who are not so able.

"Spotless, Beautiful, Luxurious"

Loved it! This is a spotless apartment in an old church building, with beautiful views over Crieff to the lovely surrounding countryside. It's luxuriously furnished and the host has thought of everything you'll need, including a luxury welcome pack of local products. The apartment is extremely well equipped and is stocked with lots of cleaning products etc. In terms of the location, it's just a very short walk into Crieff and it's excellent restaurants such as Delivino and The Lounge. The Co-op supermarket is also only a short walk away.

Terms & Conditions BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

Booking Terms 

25% deposit is required to secure the dates with the balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival. Where a booking is made within 8 weeks of arrival then full payment will be required at the time of booking. We accept most forms of payment including bank transfer; all major credit cards and UK issued debit cards. Rental is inclusive of linen and towels, as well as utilities (gas and electricity) unless otherwise stated on the individual property adverts. Fair usage policy applies. All breakages are chargeable. Click Book Stay have the right to charge a fully refundable security deposit.

Cancellation Policy

Once a booking deposit has been paid and the booking confirmed in writing, the Tenant is liable for the whole amount of the rent for the period booked. 

Any cancellations must be made in writing and acknowledged by us.

**FOR BOOKINGS MADE UP UNTIL 27TH MARCH 2020, THE FOLLOWING CANCELLATION POLICY APPLIES;

  • If notice of cancellation is given more than 8 weeks before your arrival date, 25% of the total tariff is non-refundable
  • If notice of cancellation is given with less than 8 weeks of your arrival date, the full amount is payable.

**FOR NEW BOOKINGS MADE AFTER 27TH MARCH 2020, THE FOLLOWING CANCELLATION POLICY APPLIES;
  • If notice of cancellation is given between 2 - 60 days before your arrival date, the accommodation fee will be fully refunded no questions asked.  Any refunds will be payable at the arrival date.  
  • If notice of cancellation is given with less than 2 days of your arrival dates, the full amount is payable.
*Please note, bookings made for our properties via a third party website if cancelled, the refund given will be monies received by Click Book Stay and will not include any additional booking fees/services charges applied by the third party site.

Holiday/Cancellation Insurance

Once booked, the Tenant is liable for the complete Property rental costs.  As such, it is strongly recommended that the Tenant take out suitable holiday/cancellation insurance to cover costs incurred by unexpected holiday cancellation. Booking Protect, which is a cancellation policy, is offered as an option at the time of booking via the Click Book Stay website.  Booking Protect is an independent company and not in any way related to Click Book Stay. (Please note, this section applies to bookings made prior to 27th March 2020).
