Gulabin House in Glenshee is a beautifully designed contemporary holiday villa which sleeps up to 12 people. Downstairs the large open plan living room boasts solid oak flooring, huge windows with panoramic views, a Swedish log burning stove, a 60-inch flat screen TV and the feature spiral staircase that leads to the galleried upper landing seating area with stunning countryside views. The high spec kitchen is equipped with oven & hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and wine cooler and seating around the central island. Leading from the kitchen is the separate dining area with seating for 12. There is also a double bedroom on the ground floor and a bathroom with an electric shower. Upstairs there is 1x Double room with en-suite shower room and a further 2 bedrooms which can be double or twin (one having an en-suite with aromatherapy shower). The final bedroom has 2 x twin beds along with a set of bunk beds suitable for children up to around 11 years old (room sleeps 4 in total). The family bathroom with bath is situated adjacent to the bedrooms. The house is fully centrally heated all year around.  BBQ also available.

BBQ: there is a charcoal BBQ to use but guests to supply their own charcoal for this.

This holiday home is ideally located for exploring Perthshire and the Cairngorm National Park. Located next to Gulabin Lodge Outdoor Centre, Gulabin House is in the perfect spot to get straight on the slopes with ski or snowboard equipment hire up to full tuition available. The Glenshee slopes are a mere 2 miles away and open from the first snow (usually December) until April. Out of season, guests can also take advantage of the wide range of instructor-led activities both on and off-site from abseiling & high ropes to overnight expeditions. Covering 103 kilometres, the Cateran Trail, which gives a true feel of the Scottish and offers a glimpse of the lifestyle of the Caterans in the 15th to 17th centuries, begins and ends in Blairgowrie. How many days will it take you to conquer? And if you still have a few hours to spare, you are just minutes away from the Strathmore Golf Centre which has a short game practice area and 6-hole putting green for beginners & Blairgowrie Golf Club with it's Rosemount and Lansdowne 18 hole courses.

"Spectacular Views & Lovely Property"

We rented this house for a group visit to the Highlands and to attend the Braemar Gathering. None of us had been to Scotland and we didn't know what to expect. We were so pleased with this property and the property manager. The house was clean, well-stocked, and in a great location to explore the beauty of the Highlands. The Braemar Gathering was an easy half hour trip away. The views from the property were spectacular and the peacefulness of the region contributed to our not wanting to leave!

Booking Terms 

25% deposit is required to secure the dates with the balance due 6 weeks prior to arrival. Where a booking is made within 6 weeks of arrival then full payment will be required at the time of booking. We accept most forms of payment including bank transfer; all major credit cards and UK issued debit cards. Rental is inclusive of linen and towels, as well as utilities (gas and electricity) unless otherwise stated on the individual property adverts. Fair usage policy applies. All breakages are chargeable. Click Book Stay have the right to charge a fully refundable security deposit.

Cancellation Policy

Once a booking deposit has been paid and the booking confirmed in writing, the Tenant is liable for the whole amount of the rent for the period booked. 

Any cancellations must be made in writing and acknowledged by us.

In the event of a cancellation, the following charges will apply:

  • If notice of cancellation is given more than 6 weeks before your arrival date, 25% of the total tariff is non-refundable
  • If notice of cancellation is given at least 6 weeks prior and no less than 2 weeks of your arrival date, then 50% of the total tariff is retained.
  • Less than 2 weeks notice the full tariff is non-refundable.
  • Where we are successful in securing a new booking, a refund for any dates re-let will be provided.  An admin fee of £50 may apply to cover costs incurred in processing the booking and cancellation.

    Should a booking have to be cancelled as a result of Government Order, Direction or Advice or a Change in Law, excluding weather-related advice, all monies paid less a £50 admin fee will be refunded. Cancellations for any other reason will be subject to our standard cancellation terms.
*Please note, bookings made for our properties via a third party website if cancelled, the refund given will be monies received by Click Book Stay and will not include any additional booking fees/services charges applied by the third party site.

Holiday/Cancellation Insurance

Once booked, the Tenant is liable for the complete Property rental costs.  As such, it is strongly recommended that the Tenant take out suitable holiday/cancellation insurance to cover costs incurred by unexpected holiday cancellation. Booking Protect, which is a cancellation policy, is offered as an option at the time of booking via the Click Book Stay website.  Booking Protect is an independent company and not in any way related to Click Book Stay. (Please note, this section applies to bookings made prior to 27th March 2020).
