Braemar is a location renowned for its beauty, Highland Gatherings, and the historical Braemar Castle. Take a scenic walk through the local area or venture further into the outskirts of Aberdeenshire to take in all of Scotland's natural beauty.

Explore the Scottish Highlands from this peaceful village situated in the heart of Cairngorms National Park. This unique property is the perfect base for touring the local area. The apartment is situated within a converted church building (reached by the staircase up to the first floor) in the heart of the village and retains many of its original features, including cathedral style windows and the external architecture.  This apartment offers two double rooms (one with an en-suite), a main bathroom and a living/kitchen/dining area with all the amenities you need to prep for a day of exploring Royal Deeside.

If you're looking for a postcard view of Scotland then Linn O' Dee is the ideal spot for you to explore during your visit. The area offers a truly classic Highland experience with local heather, walks for all abilities, and breathtaking waterfalls. Whilst in the town, swot up on your historical knowledge with a trip to Braemar Castle, which is in possession of Clan Farquharson. This historic castle is a classic of style middle age buildings, erected in 1628 and still standing strong to this day! The castle is closed in winter, so be sure it's open when you visit to avoid disappointment.

A Royal fan? You'll not want to miss Balmoral Castle, the Scottish home for HRH Queen Elizabeth II. The castle grounds are seasonally open to the public so you can have a walk through the magnificent gardens and find out for yourself what made Queen Victoria so fond of the land! The more active among you might also want to keep an eye open for Run Balmoral events which span over a weekend and have running activities for all abilities.

Not into history but very active? Remember to take your ski's as you're a stone's throw from Glenshee! The skiing hotspot boasts fantastic views and enough snow yearly to make you reconsider that trip to Val Thorens...

"Nice apartment in a great location"

"Great Location, Roomy, Cosy"

This was our first time with this company and I have to say they have been great. Very fast confirming which was great for us as we lost our previous holiday due to Covid-19. The flat is brilliantly situated on the edge of the village, roomy and cosy. Any issues or queries they came back very quickly via e mail, cleaner also great at leaving notes on local changes not in handy flat package information. Would use them again.

"Good Location, Comfortable Beds"

Very handy spot for summer and winter activities. An interesting building and comfortable beds - a little dated in places but very clean.
