Property Details

Gulabin Lodge was built in 1846, and was originally a manse to the local church. It has been tastefully upgraded while retaining its original charm, providing a wonderful place to relax and unwind.

The property provides a large well-equipped, modern self-catering kitchen, which is ideal for families and groups who prefer to do their own self catering. The two charming and cosy sitting rooms both have cheerful log fires.

The dining room provides plenty of dining space for all guests with tea and coffee freely available all day. A large drying room is also available during the colder months. The facilities offer a perfect break for families, couples and groups who are looking for comfort and good value and the convenience of self-catering. The small cafe on site which serves hot and cold snacks is very popular with guests. Guests can take advantage of the outdoor activities onsite and offsite provided by the Centre, or use the Lodge as a base for pursuing their own interests independently.

The Lodge has 9 bedrooms sleeping 30 (35 at a squeeze) guests with double, twin and family rooms available.

On the upstairs floor, 4 traditional-style bedrooms sleep 12 guests and downstairs there are 5 bedrooms, sleeping up to 30 guests comfortably. Some rooms have 2 sleeping levels with a mezzanine floor and are ideal for families. The ground floor has 4 toilets and 3 showers, and the upper floor has 2 toilets and 2 shower rooms.

Perfect for large groups, providing every facility you require. For rail station/airport pickups and returns we would recommend a local taxi firm: Jim Donald 01575 582324. Meals can also be provided for groups if required.

We also have Gulabin House available for exclusive use for groups of up to 12 people.
