Built circa 1846, Parkview is a listed building of special architectural and historic interest close to the Birnam Arts Centre, the Beatrix Potter Exhibition, and the Birnam Oak, as mentioned in the Willian Shakespeare Play “Macbeth”

Parkview Apartment has been lovingly restored over many years by the properties current owners and has many interesting features including 1st floor balcony with seating for two, split level open kitchen, lounge and dining space with stained glass windows, there is a double bedroom with TV and a large wardrobe and a single bedroom next to the shower room. There is Wi-fi and a Freeview TV box in the lounge with plenty of books and would be ideal for a romantic getaway, or even a workcation where you can refocus, recharge and get creative.

What is great about this apartment is its location only 5 minutes from the Dunkeld and Birnam railway station which is on the mainline to Inverness and being in the gateway to Highland Perthshire there are plenty of hillwalking paths and mountain biking trails straight out the front door so if you don't want to be bothered with bringing a car there is plenty to see and do, and and ideal base to do day trips to Inverness, Dundee, Perth, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Edinburgh

In addition, there is a shared garden at the back of the property, ideal if you need to dry out wet kit or read a book / have a BBQ.

Well behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement for which a small additional fee is applicable.

Birnam is linked to Dunkeld by a seven-arched bridge, built by Thomas Telford. It is surrounded by lovely Perthshire countryside and central to the many local places of interest such as the National Trust Scotland site of the Hermitage and Pitlochry to name a few
